New Version of Soundslides multimedia software

There is a new beta version of soundslides, the quick and easy multimedia/audio slideshow authoring tool. Here is an example of a story on Iraq from the Spokesman Review Video Journal (thanks to Colin Mulvany and his informative mastering multimedia blog)

NUJ condemns “free for all” US Orphan Works legislation

The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) has become the first UK organisation representing photographers to publicly oppose the proposed US ‘Orphan Works’ legislation, saying it “utterly rejects” the bills currently going through the House and Senate.
