After a long interregnum in the more commercially focused arena of high end stock and advertising photography, stephen mayes has returned to his roots in the reportage agency business, joining vii as managing director (as I hinted at in yesterdays post)

It’s been a long time coming: i remember stephen saying when he left Network that he wanted to go into the stock world to find out how to make money so he could apply the lessons to the photojournalistic community: that was 14 years ago!
