Hello.. I had left a direct message regarding media-journalism coverage on gender based violence (GBV) in war and peace zones ? My colleagues-friends here in Norway and UK have been trying to create better ethical and meaningful programs on such issues. It would be nice to hear from you regarding this, as conflict zone reporting I am sure is an integral part of your course lectures ? Some of my colleagues and friends have noticed that the coverage of GBV can be rather insensitively done, and this is what we are concerned about. I have met some people at DART as well as the Frontline Club, although I prefer the more methodical and academic approach that DART has… of course they do cover trauma aspects, and I hope to highlight the trauma impact of the interviewees of GBV… I woudl be very pleased to start a discussion leading to viable program perhaps?
